I didn't find the idea of post swapping "creepy". I think some people just blog for different reasons, some are more business minded and like the idea of community and e-partnerships and some are protective of their art and takr their blog space quite personally and I don;t think there is anything wrong with either of these views. Modish has their "collabo" series and I found it inspiring http://www.modishblog.com/modish/2009/05/collabo-shanna-murray-pistachio-press.html, I've also enjoyed other guest bloggers post on sites like simplesong, http://simplesong.typepad.com/
I guess it just depends on the individuals involved. If you feel wary, go with your gut :) (finally( ! ) a purpose for my rolly polly tummy!)

I've never heard of post swapping: it sounds kind of creepy, actually. Like someone writing in your journal. I know that blogs come in all shapes sizes, tones, and contents and I'm sure it's the right thing for some, but I would need a very compelling reason to do it.

I love the "Dear Bakery" segment. Maybe I'll ask a question one day!

I love the idea of 'Dear Bakery' posts. This situation seems to be quite delicate and I really liked your proposed responses.
