Does Your Online Communication Measure Up?
The great news about this digital age is that your business is now more accessible, affordable and available than ever before. The bad news? You can’t catch a break.
Send an email with a typo and you may lose ten clients. Twitter something offensive and you may lose ten followers. Blog something less-than-worthy and you may lose ten readers.
What this means is that you, as a business owner, need to be very aware of the vibe you’re sending into the webosphere. From mailing lists to press releases and everything in between, the little things count— BIG TIME.
BUT— there is good news. MANY resources exist to help you master the art of online communication, in turn, ensuring your vibe is a good one. David Silverman offers four tips for writing a better email. Laura Roeder tells us how to Twitter without pissing people off. And Netiquette? Read on.
Told you we had good news.

amen! it takes a certain discipline to manage a brand from the solitary artist to a major corporation. the digital age can be so instantaneous people don’t stop to think things out long term. thanks for the resources!
love the word bubble image.
and the whole post of course.
Yes, it is so true. As soon as you read an email or a blog post you are already “seeing” who the author is. A personality, a vibe, and a goal is revealed and like it or not you form an opinion. This could be a crucial first impression!
We all need to use it wisely!
